CIndU Comes Into Focus

A trigger can make chronic urticaria seem easier to explain. It does not necessarily make it easier to diagnose, live with, or control. This experience looks closely at the patterns that distinguish chronic inducible urticaria from CSU, from the patient language that first raises suspicion to subtype recognition, provocation testing, and severity assessment. With particular attention to symptomatic dermographism and the realities of triggers woven into everyday life, expert faculty explore how PA/NPs can move beyond identifying what sets symptoms off toward a more complete picture of burden, treatment expectations, shared decision-making, and long-term disease control.
