The Measure of Better: Rethinking Response in Prurigo Nodularis

Prurigo nodularis asks us to look at response from more than one angle. Itch may ease while nodules remain; sleep can return before the skin is clear. A patient may tell you their life is markedly better while the measures in front of you still say there is farther to go. New data with dupilumab put numbers around something clinicians may already recognize—meaningful improvement does not always arrive all at once. Across this experience, we’ll look at what changes, what may take longer, and how a more complete picture of response can shape the decisions we make along the way.
