Can you integrate hormonal therapy with sarecycline?

You. I get this question a lot about using oral spironalactone with oral seracycline. Can I do both? Do I have to do one or the other? I do both all the time, or a lot of the time, I should say, just because the onset of action is so different between these two therapeutics, oral seracycline, the study show you can see improvement as early as three weeks in inflammatory lesions, whereas with spironalactone, it might take at least three months. And so sometimes if I have a patient in my office who I think has hormonal acne and she's very upset about it and really doesn't want to wait the three months to get it better, I'll also start at the same time, seracycline, so that we can get some initial improvement within that first month. And then once the spironalactone has kicked in a few months later, then I may stop the oral seracycline.
