Do you see tapinarof cream functioning more as a steroid-sparing topical the way tacrolimus, pimecrolimus and crisaborole do?

You. In the end, we have to distinguish between what is a steroid sparing agent, what is a steroid alternative, what is a steroid adjunct, and what is going to shut down the process versus change the result. And I think these new therapies are all meant to stop the process in the tracks. I use the analogy of turning off the faucet versus mopping up the mess in terms of some of these alternatives, like rofumilast, Ruxalinib to Pinarov, all these other molecules that change the way that things improve. In terms of inflammation, I also look at the outcomes in terms of, okay, wouldn't you rather have less inflammation to deal with versus more to mop up the mess? And that's what steroids at a potency level or a vehicle level have to be really in tune to. So I think I look at these medications in terms of, let's not look at them as steroid alternatives. Let's look at them more as stopping the process of the disease and then going from there. So they're more disease modifying than steroid alternatives.
