How do you treat patients with both psoriasis and eczema, or eczema and inflammatory arthritis?

Atopic Dermatitis

You. So this is, again, an interesting question, because, again, as a rheumatologist and dermatologist, I do sometimes see patients that have a skin manifestation that is biopsy proven psoriasis, another lesion that comes back as biopsy proven exematus or spongiotic dermatitis. And then I'm like, you have psoriasis and eczema? And then how do I treat you? Certainly with the class of Jack inhibitors, because of their indication for psoriatic arthritis and more recent indication for atopic dermatitis, they become my go to if I'm looking at one drug to sort of solve two problems. And then here and there, I have also used combination therapy of different biologics. So, for instance, I've used biologics that are approved for psoriasis, such as an aisle 17 blocker or an aisle 23 blocker. And I've combined that with dupilumab, an Il four receptor blocker, in the same patient that has both psoriasis and atopic dermatitis. And then I sort of take this one step further. Sometimes I even see patients that have atopic dermatitis and this inflammatory arthritis. And in such patients, I do use oral jack inhibitors, just because of the approval of Jack inhibitors. Now, for atopic dermatitis and historically for inflammatory arthritis, whether it's psoriatic arthritis or rheumatoid arthritis.
