Does a patient with latent TB need treatment before using ruxolitinib cream?

You. As far as we know, and also according to the package insert, there are no specific contrary indication if somebody have latent TB. Now, of course, if somebody have latent TB, whether they take any kind of medication or not, they do have to go through the oral regimen for latent tv. But as far as the package insert and whatever we know clinically, there is nothing that state that you have to wait for that latent tv oral medication to finish before you can start raxolidinib. As far as we know, you can go ahead and start raxolidinib topical 1.5% cream while the patient is undergoing oral medication for the latent TB prophylactic treatment for tuberculosis.
