Is topical ruxolitinib cream useful for patients with moderate disease?

You. Topical raxolitinib 1.5% cream is very effective for patients with moderate atobic dermatitis. About three quarter of the patients achieved clear or almost clear status by week eight, and in fact, the moderate patients did better than patients with mild disease, according to the FDA way of looking at this. That is an artifact of the fact that FDA not only demand clear, almost clear, but also two steps, improvement and patients with mild disease when they joined the study. Two improvement means they have to be absolutely clear. And so, ironically, many people with mild disease did excellent, but if they are not absolutely clear, FDA will classify them as treatment failure. So in reality, braxolynib cream works well, extremely well, both for moderate and for mild disease. But in the clinical trial, because of the a criteria of what is considered treatment success, moderate patients actually look better in terms of outcome than mild atopic dermatitis. Patients.
