Can AMZEEQ be combined with benzoyl peroxide?

You. So with the advance, with topical minocycline being available, and there's a 4% foam that's available once a day for the treatment of acne. There's a 1.5% topical minocycline foam approved for the treatment of papilla plush lesions of rosacea. But we're typically going to get into a situation where we want to use topical minocycline 4% foam in a patient with acne, where we also want to use benzo peroxide. We have to recognize that benzel peroxide is an oxidizing agent and it can actually break down or degrade certain other agents that we use for acne. We've known about that for years with tretinoin. So we separate benzoil peroxide from most of the formulations of tretinoin with topical minocycline foam. Benzoil peroxide degrades the topical minocycline foam, so we expect it to be less active or inactive, and it also is going to create a discoloration. So it is recommended, and actually, it's in the labeling that you separate by at least 8 hours application of benzo peroxide from when they apply a topical cycling foam.
