What is the data on PLA positivity for dysplastic nevi?

You. We did a study in which we looked at dysplastic Nevi with severe atypia or severely dysplastic nevi, and we looked to see if they expressed link and or praim, and also if they carried turp promoter mutations. It turns out that 61% of this severely dysplastic nevi did express link and or name. Now, interestingly, only 4% of these had a turt promoter mutation, and that is, by contrast, melanomas. About 70% of those had a turt promoter mutation. So what that tells us is that severely dysplastic nevi have some of the early features of melanoma, particularly link and or praim positivity. However, they're very unlikely to have a turt promoter mutation. So if I have a nevis that has all of these features and is red as a severely dysplastic nevis, I will personally go back and re excise that to make sure that it's completely out.
