Atopic dermatitis, especially in children, seems to affect patients quality of life even worse than psoriasis because psoriasis tend to have less problem in children with atopic dermatitis whole lot of children affected and that has tremendously negative quality of life, not only because children tend to experience bullying and other stigmatization at school. Kids can be cruel more so than grownups, but also family dynamics can be perverted with atovictomatitis. I have often seen that atobactomatitis child the parents feel so bad that oftentimes the mother pay more attention to the child with atobic dermatitis as compared to other siblings and that can create jealousy among other siblings. And also sometimes when the child has really bad atovic dermatitis, the mother tend to sleep with the child and that might actually make that husband frustrated that they no longer can spend time together in bed because the mother is spending more time with the child with bad atopic dermatitis. Now, in general, whether patient is child or adult, atopic dermatitis consistently show more problem with itching and more intense itching than other skin conditions such as psoriasis, so that also make quality of life negative impact even more intense with atopic dermatitis compared to psoriasis or other skin conditions more intense each and more generalized each.
