How do you treat patients who have not seen success with dupilumab?

Atopic Dermatitis

While dupilumab is an excellent agent to treat moderate to severe atopic dermatitis, we do know that not all patients who have been given dupilumab respond to it here and there, or often enough. I do see patients who have either never had a response to dupilumab with regards to their atopic dermatitis, or if they had an initial response. With time, they have a secondary loss of efficacy. And again, as I mentioned, we are very fortunate that we have a few other systemic agents that have been approved for atopic dermatitis in the recent six, seven months. So I do switch my patients who have failed dopillumab, and generally, I sort of switch to a different mechanism of action completely. And in that regard, the mechanism of action that I sort of choose or use, in this case in patients who've lost efficacy to dopillumab, generally tends to up being a jack inhibitor, which is an oral molecule.
