How long should you hold dupilumab prior to live vaccine injection?

So first let's talk about some of the common live vaccines that may come up during our discussion, and they include yellow fever vaccine, sastavax, measle, mumps, rubella and rotavirus vaccines, intranasal influenza vaccine and BCg vaccine. So the current recommendation is to hold dupilamab injection for twelve weeks, give the live vaccine, and then wait another four weeks before you give the dupilumab injection. And now, this particular practice is not really based on a lot of data because we don't have a lot of data in this area right now, but it's a recommendation that's based on maximizing safety and also not interfere with our body's response to mount the antibody response as a result of receiving the live vaccination. Now let me also talk a little bit about non live vaccines and its use with dupilumab here when we're talking about our Covid vaccines, for example, the mrna vaccine, there is really no consideration with regards to when you give the mrna vaccine versus the dupilomab injection. So typically really have people schedule their mrna vaccine appointment first, and then they should be able to continue the dupilumab injection as recommended on the original dose. This goes the same for the adenovirus vector Covid vaccines as well, as long as they have that first, have them schedule the earliest vaccine appointment that's possible for the adenovirus vaccine, and then they can continue their dupilumab injection at the regularly scheduled interval.
