How does the formulation of roflumilast differ from other topicals?

You. So the formulation of reflumilas is very unique. It is ph balanced. And what really that means is that it's as close to our skin ph, making it very gentle on the skin. So the skin ph, depending on sources, can vary from 4.5 to 5.5. And reflumilas is 5.5. So it's very gentle to use, it's not greasy. And that's something that my patients really love about it. They also report back that it spreads very easily and it absorbs quickly, so they can sort of just put it on and put their clothes on, and out they go. And then again, I live in Manhattan, where everybody wants to know whether things are vegan gluten free. So it is vegan and gluten free. It doesn't have the irritants like propylene glycol, polyethylene glycol that we know can irritate some patients that have sens stiff skin. And last but not least, it is fragrance free. So it's kind of like everything in a neat package. Vegan gluten free, fragrance free, doesn't have propylene glycols ph balance, easy to use.
