Does atopic dermatitis always involve the flexural areas?

You. So my experience is that atopular dermatitis in adults rarely involves the flexural areas. The vast majority of patients that I'm treating with monoclonal antibodies, methotrexate, mycophenylate, cyclosporin, phototherapy, topical ruxilinaib, all of these things. It is very rare that for me, any of these patients have flexural involvement. The vast majority, it's upper back, flanks, face, hands, thighs, backs of the thighs, fronts of the thighs, places like that. Adult onset atopic dermatitis. Incredibly different animal compared to the classic pediatric atopic dermatitis that we were taught about in residency. We just have had this wrong for years. Again, the vast majority of patients with adult atopic dermatitis this do not have flexual involvement.
