What are the current recommendations for elimination diets for kids with AD?

Atopic Dermatitis

You. So many parents come to me and their kids have bad atopic dermatitis and they want so desperately to be able to blame it on a food and simply be able to eliminate the food from their diet and have the atopic dermatitis go away. And I would love if that was the case. In fact, when parents ask me about this, I say I wish it was a food that would make my job so much easier. But the unfortunate thing is that most times, the overwhelming majority of times, the eczema has nothing to do with any foods. And so elimination diets are not recommended by the American Academy of Pediatrics and the Society for Pediatric Dermatology.
