Has the emergence of new topical options affected the course of treatment you select for your patients?

Psoriasis

You. So we are in a great space when it comes to psoriasis because we've had new topicals that got approved just in the last couple of years. For the longest time, all we had were topical steroids, vitamin D analogues, topical retinoids, and there wasn't really much in terms of traction in the topical space. And now we do have novel mechanisms of action. So it has really changed the way I treat my psoriasis patients, because I have moved away from the older topicals to the new topicals, namely ruflumalas, because they have a distinct sort of mechanism of action. It's once a day use, so it's a very easy to use topical. I can have my patient use it anywhere where they have psoriasis, and we have safety data going all the way to week 52. So it has really changed the way I practice treating psoriasis. Again, from, like, an insurance coverage perspective, sometimes my hands are tied and I have to try something before reflumulas gets approved. But if I have a patient who I sort of inherited from somebody else or who's tried a different topical, such as a topical steroid or retinoid or a vitamin D analog, I pull the trigger and give them rufluvalas from the get go.
