Do you augment oral and/or biologic therapy with a topical?

You. Very often, our patients with psoriasis are not doing monotherapy, meaning that there's probably a couple things they're using. So in the case of systemic therapies, when our patients are using an oral or biologic therapy in the real world, our studies suggest that patients oftentimes are concurrently using a topical therapy to hit up any spots that may not be totally resolved or some areas that really difficult to treat skin like the hands or face, or even the elbows and knees where you have really thick plaques. So something to think about when it comes to topical therapy is, number one, what's potency like? Number two, what's safety like? And number three, is this something you feel safe combining in terms of the mechanisms of actions of the drugs themselves?
